About

Raipur Going Pink is a chapter initiative under its parent campaign Raipur Going Pink to encourage women to adopt healthier lifestyles and have a positive attitude towards life. This Raipur Going Pink is organized by S. B. Multimedia Pvt Ltd, and is a Run for Women's Health and Breast Cancer Awareness, primarily through short and long distance runs (3 KMs to 21.1 KMs). Together, we will do more – Fit Women for Fit Families!

It is the beginning of a movement carried forward by a growing community of empowered women across India, who share a belief that a healthy family, a healthy nation and a healthy world begins with empowered women. The first step in empowerment is taking control of your own health, respecting yourself and understanding and celebrating the value you bring to your family and society. Empowerment is not a gift of society, it is a gift you give yourself.

  • Start Date – Friday, 25thAugust 2017 onwards
  • End Date – Tuesday, 31st October, 2017 6:00 pm IST or as soon as running places are filled, whichever is earlier.

Raipur Going Pink Carnival (Bib Collection):

It is mandatory for a Raipur Going Pink Sister to collect her running number personally from the Raipur Going Pink Carnival. In case of unavoidable circumstances, she can send a representative to collect running number on her behalf.

To collect Bib number, you need to carry –

  • A printed copy of web confirmation. You can download your confirmation from check application.

Go Green Tip: If you’re a smart phone user, please save the web confirmation and show it to our representative at the Bib Distribution Area within the Raipur Going Pink Carnival. You need not carry a print of the same. Please note, this is applicable only if the registered runner is visiting the Raipur Going Pink Carnival in person.

If representative is coming to collect Bib number, then he/she will need to carry -

  • A printed copy of web confirmation. You can download your confirmation from check application.
  • A copy of photo id proof of the registered participant, eg: driving license, employee/ school/college identity card, passport, PAN card, election card, etc.

Please note that a representative can collect bibs for up to FIVE runners ONLY.

Participation for 21.1 km is open to all women above the age of 18 years’ subject to qualification criteria.

This event does not have an upper age, but girls under 13 are not suggested to participate alone in 3, 5 or 10Kms races. Their mothers have to accompany them in the same category run.

Participant who wish to register for 21.1K has to send their timing certificate to Registration Team at raipurgoingpink@gmail.com, along with their registration ID received after completing online registration.

  • All duly filled application forms must be submitted online or given ONLY to the official Pinkathon Ambassador listed on our website/ corporate point of contact from whom you have received this application form.
  • Applications will be accepted only on the original forms. Copies of the application form will not be considered for registration.
  • Only one applicant can apply for the Event using a single form.
  • Do not register for more than one race category, multiple applications from a single participant will entail in rejection.
  • Please thoroughly go through all relevant information and FAQs before filling in the application form.
  • Before sending in your application, please check if you -
    • have filled in details against all mandatory fields prefixed with ‘*’ in the application form
    • have enclosed the requisite application fees (refer to application fees section)
    • have signed the ‘waiver’ in the application form
  • Participants without BIB tag will not be able to compete for prize money in any of the run categories.
  • Runners crossing the start line after 15 minutes of the start time will not be entitled to be eligible for rankings or prize money.
  • Finish position of timed runners will be based only on net time.
  • Decision of organizers will be final and binding on all.
  • Where any discrepancy is found in any of the above mentioned mandatory requirements, your application will not be accepted.
  • Requests for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained. Further, application fees shall not be refunded by virtue of non-participation, including failure by a confirmed participant to collect her bib.
  • Application Confirmation: Participant will receive the confirmation email from Raipur Going Pink Team to their registered email id within 10 days of submission of their application. If you are unable to receive the confirmation after 10 working days, please enquire with your Official Pinkathon Ambassador or email us at raipurgoingpink@gmail.com
  • Running Number Bib Collection
    • It is mandatory for a Pink Sister to collect her running number personally from the Pink Carnival. In case of unavoidable circumstances, she can send a representative to collect running number on her behalf.
    • All confirmed participants/their authorized representatives are required to come to the Pink Carnival in Delhi scheduled on Friday, 10th November 2017 & Saturday, 11th November 2017 between 11 am to 7 pm to collect their running number bibs. No running number will be posted to individual mailing addresses. The Raipur Going Pink carnival venue will be updated on the event website Raipur Going Pink
    • Participant/Authorised representative must carry with him/her (a) the email confirmation sent by Pinkathon Team from info.pinkathon@gmail.com (b) photocopy of photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN card or passport) of the confirmed participant.
  • This application form and the right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this entry form is at the sole discretion of the event Promoters, Maximus MICE & Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising out of such confirmation of participation.
  • The city police department reserves the right to cancel permission for the event at any time. In such a situation, or in case the event date or location is changed due to political rallies, natural disaster or any other event outside the control of organizers, the organizers will hold the event at the next available and convenient date. In such a case there will be no refund of registration fees.
  • BIB Tag is NOT mandatory for participation. BIB Tag is mandatory ONLY if you want your official timing and if you wish to compete in the event.
  • No participants will be allowed inside the holding area without their running BIB pinned on front of their T Shirt.
  • No running BIB will be distributed on the race day.
  • Organizers reserve the right to stop any participant who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the official medical personnel.
  • Limited baggage storage is available for all participants on first come first served basis. However, for security reasons, participants are requested to come without any baggage. It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phone, camera, jewelry, watch, electronic gadgets, etc. in the bag storage. Organizers are not responsible for any loss or baggage and belongings.

No. An applicant can apply only for one race in the Event. An application form received with two options chosen, will be rejected. Multiple applications from a single participant will entail in rejection.

No. All participants’ race day images will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participant is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event in 2017. Further, S. B. Multimedia Pvt Ltd and Raipur Going Pink reserves the right to take necessary legal action against the registered participant and the person who has used the running number bib on race day, for impersonation.

No. each individual is required to register individually and sign/agree to the waiver form.

Every 21.1 km racer will need to have a male pacer. This is only compulsory for 21.1K runners. Participants applying for 21.1K should have participated in distance running event which fulfils the following requirements –

The running event must have been conducted within the period of 24 months preceding Raipur Going Pink 2017 race day, i.e. 12th November, 2017.

Only timings of marathon (42.195 km), 25 km, half marathon (21.097 km) and 10 km distances will be considered to qualify for the 21.1K race category.

No, each member/ runner needs to fill individual application form with all the mandatory fields duly filled and necessary documents attached

Your entry can be rejected on any of the grounds listed below.

  • Incomplete form submitted.
  • Waiver not signed.
  • Mutilated form/cheque/demand draft/currency notes submitted.
  • More than one application received from the same applicant.
  • Short receipt or non-receipt of entry fee.
  • Cheque or demand draft submitted not cleared by the Bank.
  • Running places are full.
  • Any other reason.

Once you have applied, request for cancellation and refund will not be entertained.

No. All participants must come to the Raipur Going Pink Carnival/ Expo to collect their Bibs.

NO, men cannot participate in the run. It is an ALL WOMEN’S RUN. We request the men not to register. However, we encourage all to sponsor and encourage any female in their family, vicinity, friend circle, staff (home and office). You just help her to submit the online registration form, along with fee. There is an optional field in the form to fill sponsor details. Men can also partner for the Visually Impaired.Thank You! If a male participant has registered for the run, he could transfer his registration to a female friend or family member instead.Please contact raipurgoingpink@gmail.com for any query.

For change in race category, you can mail us at raipurgoingpink@gmail.com. No requests will be considered after 31st October, 2017

Running number bib collection:

  • It is mandatory for a Pink Sister to collect her running number personally from the Raipur Going Pink Carnival/ Expo. In case of unavoidable circumstances, she can send a representative to collect running number on her behalf.
  • All confirmed participants/their authorized representatives are required to come to the Raipur Going Pink Carnival in Raipur from Friday, 10th November 2017 and Saturday, 11th November 2017 between 11 am to 7 pm at ‘Venue: TBD’ in order to collect their running number bibs. No running number will be posted to individual mailing addresses. The Raipur Going Pink carnival venue will be updated on the event website raipurgoingpink.in as well.
  • Participant/Authorized representative must carry with him/her (a) the email confirmation sent by Registration Team from info.pinkathon@gmail.com (b) photocopy of photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN card or passport) of the confirmed participant.
